Electronics and gadgets quickly become outdated, and most people find themselves holding onto unwanted machines, not knowing what to do with them. QeH2 did some research to show you how you can trade them in for cash.

The first one is Gazelle. It’s a reCommerce service that will take iPads, external hard drives, GPS devices, satellite radios, Blu-ray movies and other gadgets. If your have other items that aren’t listed, you can contact them for a personalized quote.

Walmart has partnered with Gazelle to let you trade in your electronics and you’ll receive a Walmart e-gift card in return.

NextWorth works with retailers to make it easy to receive store credit or a gift card by trading in old electronics. You can also go to the website and receive a quote online, then get a check or gift card mailed to you.

Best Buy has a trade-in program that allows you to switch your used gadgets and other electronics for a store gift card. They also have a buy back program when you’re ready to upgrade your current products.

Target allows you to trade in used electronics and DVDs for a Target gift card. You can also use the calculator to get an estimate of the value of your item and ship it with a pre-paid label.

If you don’t feel like selling old electronics on Amazon, you can participate in the trade-in program. Assuming your used electronics meet the product eligibility criteria, a gift card will be deposited into your account upon receipt of your items.
